Blind Paths

December 22, 2001

The road ahead is forked true
so entwined with all life’s trials.

As it winds and turns and twists,
forever on for many miles.

I will follow Your Path blindly,
for my faith it lies in You.

You have shown me new beginnings,
to the end, please see me through.

Your Word is my true salvation
the key to holy life assured.

It is the song poured from my soul
for all life’s ills, it is the cure.

Your Hands I place my fate, O Lord,
only in You that I rely.

Through temptation and tribulation
faith in You is where I lie.

Though before me, yet, seen blind paths

I’ll not falter in belief.

For I feel Your Arms around me
like the tree that holds the leaf.

No Beginning Never Ends

December 23, 2001

Omnipresent is Your Love for everyone we are the child.

All the power of the universe, yet no breathe could be as mild.

You hold us in Your Cup Of Life and never spill a drop.

Your Force has no beginning, nor ever will it stop.

The caring of The Holy Father’s Love eternity
is longer than the river and is deeper than the sea.

No beginning never ends this is the Spirit of The Lord.

He’ll wash away the sins of man He wields a mighty sword.

He gives us life; He gives us love and feeds our every need.

His Power splits the mountain and His Breathe It sprouts the seed.

We’re ever in Your Light, O Lord, and darkness never more.

Your Coruscations soothe us like the eagle we will soar.

We worship You with all our hearts and bathe You with our tears.

You shield us from all evil and You take away our fears.

You fill us with Your Love, our Lord, and cradle us with care.

You ask us just to take this love and with each other share.

No beginning never ends, this of You we know, O Lord.

Your Word is our existence eternal life is our reward.

That You love us with Your Flesh and Blood to wash away our sins
is life forever lasting no beginning, never ends.

The Holy Spirit In Us

January 6, 2002

The Holy Spirit, always present, ever in us all
is felt most strongly when the mighty name The Lord you call.

For if you ask Him, He will come and wash your sins away.

“Forgive me for my sins, O Lord,” is all you have to say.

Above toward the heavens or below unto the ground
you may look to left or right, in front or back and all around.

The Holy Spirit, always present, ever in us all.

Your faith in Him is all you’ll need He’ll never let you fall.

The Holy Spirit in us, you can know He’s always there.

It matters little if you’re good or hateful as a bear.

He loves us all, both good and bad, there’s nowhere you can hide.

Just call on Him and safely in His Arms you’re tucked inside.

The Holy Spirit, flowing through all things forever more.

He brings you through your troubles and He makes your spirit soar.

Connecting everything and all, His Energy so pure.

A blanket for your every woe.   A most delightful cure.

The Holy Spirit, always present, ever in us all
is felt most strongly when the mighty name The Lord you call.

For if you ask Him, He will come and wash your sins away.

“Forgive me for my sins, O Lord,” is all you have to say.

The Bible The Book The Scripture The Word

January 9, 2002

The Bible, the book, the Scripture, the word
is to us all as the wind for a bird.

With It, you’ve all, without It, you’re naught
It is the answer to all you have sought.

To bring into focus for with It we’re one
It’s food for the spirit like plants need the sun.

Pray for the answers, The Lord shows us all
He’ll not let you falter; He’ll not let you fall.

Sixty-six books put together as whole
a reference for living, a charge for your soul.

A template for wholeness, design for all life.

Blueprint the soul, a cure for your strife.

The magic, it works only if It is read.

Without this is like spoken words that aren’t said.

Like a breeze that’s not blown or like uneaten food.

On a shelf It’s like dove songs that never are cooed.

The Bible, the Scripture, the people all one.

Without It we’re scattered lost sheep on the run.

The Bible, the Scripture immortal like time.

In sync with the spirit for life so sublime.

With Prayer You Have All

January 15, 2002

Life always finds unknown times good and bad
it holds days of laughter, sometimes you are sad.

Like water, so needed, for life we all know
can move mighty mountains and cast a rainbow.

Some harp of their problems as if all alone
most woes are the product of seeds we have sown.

When things seem so bad, you need only call
the promise of our Lord, with prayer you have all.

To ask for grand riches, so selfish a plea
is wasting a favor from God, can’t you see.

Ask Him to tell you what task you can do
to help your good brothers to find life that’s new.

The life they can have is more grander than gold
it’s richer than riches and bolder than bold.

A mile of fine pearls, a gift that keeps giving
a gift of the life, a life ever living.

You ask our Lord Jesus, “Forgive us our sin,
and give us our bread, Holy Father amen.

Please, keep us all free from the urges that tempt,
on Earth as in Heaven.”  There’s no one exempt.

Jesus In Flesh

January 16, 2002

Everyone has a most uncertain day
one that goes, somewhat, less a bit than your way.

They say that a friend who is in a small need
is a friend, yes, a friend; you’ve a friend, yes, indeed.

Those are the days you’re in need of The Lord.

No less than our Heavenly Father afford.

Lend a hand; share some time or a soul to refresh.

In us all is the task to be “Jesus In Flesh”.

Surely you’ve had of your days a bad time
when your waking was surly or less than sublime.

Have you never the need of kind voice or a hand
or the Love of a brother, like the beach has the sand.

“Jesus In Flesh”, we can all share its bliss,
sure the best gift of all it is never amiss.

Take a second of time in your day now and then
to share The Lord’s love with a stranger or friend.

If in your day you do follow this charge
tenfold your reward will be given by large.

“Jesus In Flesh”, is the job of us all
if you take this from grace then you surely won’t fall.

My Daily Prayer

January 23, 2002

Lord, protect us on this day.

Of this we ask You; this we pray.

Forgive our sins and keep us whole
we’ll reap our gifts one hundred fold.

Protect us from temptation, Lord
and shield us from the devil’s sword.

We worship You with every word
with praise and glory most assured.

Heal us Lord from all that ails
and soothe us when our venture fails.

We share our faith with all we know
in hope The Holy sheen will show.

Bless our food our body’s fuel,
our daily prayers, a Holy tool.

Into Your Hands we lay our soul
to keep us safe, to make us whole.

Forgive me Father for I have sinned.

From Satan, Lord, for me defend.

I offer this, My Daily Prayer,
my Love for God, with all I share.

The Price Of Salvation

February 2, 2002

What is the cost of your seat with The Lord?

Is it all about money, can you really afford?

Should you put a grand price to speak on about God?

If they give you their tithe, do you give them a nod?

Do you set an account when you’re called by The Lord?

Should it pay all your bills and the wine you just poured?

Should you charge for the words that you read from His Book?

Could you make a fine living from our Christ’s Holy work?

Just how much is a blessing for a needy soul worth,
if you cleanse him from sin or sanction a birth?

If I put The Lord’s work to some music or song
should I charge you a fee for my part, is it wrong?

What if God tells me to do it for free,
should I take a small offer or ask for a fee?

If I tell you a story of Jesus’ life
do I call it a job to support my fine wife?

Well, it’s just my opinion I can’t speak for another.

If your job is a preacher, then I call you my Brother.

But, to me it is more of a calling or task.

What’s the price of salvation, what’s the fee I should ask?

Servant Of The Lord

February 3, 2002

A Servant of The Lord is all that I am.

He is my Shepherd; I am a lamb.

He leads me to water be it ever so still.

He tears down the mountain to make it a hill.

Glorification is all that He asks.

Follow His Words and obey His tasks.

He gives us instruction to all who will hear.

Though gentle as gentle, His wrath you should fear.

Pray to The Lord for things you should do.

Are they ever too many or ever too few?

To all who will listen to all who will see
a mission for God will be yours for no fee.

What if He asks you to flee from your sin?

Is it better to chance that The Lord you offend?

He asked, “Who are rich to sell all they possess
and give to the needy.”
without second guess.

He has said, “Are you not even good as the bird?”

The Lord gives them food and they know not The Word.

We are the sheep that The Shepherd does tend.

For our sins, our great Father His Son He did send.

Denomination

February 10, 2002

Denomination, is it just a difference of the Faith?

Is it felt or seen or is it shadowed like a wraith?

Does Our Lord in Heaven call His people by a name
or are we just His children treated fairly just the same?

How could any split The Lord Our God apart in two
or three or four or five or six or more or just a few?

There is one God, no more, no less, almighty is His will.

We are His servants like the soil the farmers work and till.

To separate our faith in Him can only split the flock.

One Shepherd tending many hordes, a race against the clock.

Together we can stand, a mighty wall against the sky.

A million years that pass is but a twinkle in God’s eye.

A father with a dozen sons who claim a different clan.

The family split in pieces like the air blown through a fan.

The offspring held together by a name all called as one,
will hold the power of the stars the power of our sun.

So should we split ourselves in pieces split apart in two
or three or four or five or six or more or just a few?

Denomination is a word for setting things apart.

Let’s unify our faith in God, the beating of one heart.

Not Always Honey

February 17, 2002

Do you think you follow words that seem so good and new?

Beelzebub, the lord of flies, spews words which none are true.

He’ll come to you in beauty and a velvet voice of gold,
but all will be to fool you and to turn your heart so cold.

He’ll offer you the life and things that in your mind will seem
to make the Sun shine brighter and the stars a warmer gleam.

But, heed the words of man that flow from mouths so lined with silk.

What’s sweet, not always honey nor what’s white not always milk.

When you pray and meditate to hear Our Lord God’s Word,
insert a line or two that asks that Satan’s bound assured.

Ask God to send him hidden to the corners of his lair,
so only Heaven’s word will come to you, your soul to bear.

Feel blessed to ask for gifts from God, He offers them for free.

Just ask for gifts that help all men and ask not for a fee.

To have possessions is a gift God wants us to receive,
but money is a tool that Satan uses to deceive.

It’s not the things we cherish that will steal your soul away.

It’s in the things you’ll do to have them, it’s the game you’ll play.

Just remember that the best in life is seldom sold.

What’s sweet, not always honey, nor what glitters, always gold.

With Him Eternity

February 20, 2002

Satan, you who brags of so much power to bequeath.

You trample on God’s People setting them of you beneath.

You cast your ugly shadow, shading all from Deitous Light
and take away the will of those who give you not a fight.

You tempt with wicked gifts to make one think you are a god,
but all the while you limp through time as of a mule not shod.

God is, but one, no others are to claim His Holy Throne,
although, you pick man’s flesh away and leave his polished bone.

You wallow in your glory when a soul you steal away
as if to claim another is “act three” of your vile play.

You seem to wash from knowledge something really quite related.

Like the Heavens, Earth and man, that you, too, are just created.

Only God and God, alone, defeats the break of time.

Always was and ever will, God’s Presence is sublime.

God has no beginning and will never ever end.

Our time on Earth, a test of faith, He gives our soul to tend.

The Lord Our God, He tends us all, we are His Flock of Sheep.

He asks us just to hold His Word and hence, our souls to keep.

So, Satan, hear, we have a gift you’ll never, ever see.

God gives us all a chance to be with Him eternity.

Wash Our Sins Away

February 25, 2002

God descended unto man and rendered into flesh,
for our sins to wash away and start our new lives fresh.

He gave His Only Son to man to save us from our sin.

The Blood Of Christ, our salvation, He died for us, Amen.

He always taught to love each man as though you love yourself
and the Kingdom Of Our God, by far, our greatest wealth.

If you love Him, then His word, kept by your heart would be,
for if you strive to be like Him, God’s Kingdom you will see.

When hungry He was tempted by the devil and He said,
”The Words Of God is what you need and not only of bread.”

Christ also spoke wise words to all and any that would hear.

He said, “You should repent your sins, God’s Kingdom is so near.”

He asks us all to follow Him and keep His Holy Word
and said that, “are we not as good and worthy as the bird?”

I’ve seen so many signs that tell me “What Would Jesus Do”.

He would say to be like Him and keep all God’s Laws true.

His Life was ended on The Cross a very Holy Day.

He gave His Life, for all mankind, to wash our sins away.

He spent His Life on Earth to teach us how to live our life.

His Resurrection showed us all there is no need for strife.

Thank You Jesus

February 27, 2002

Have you told The Lord how much He means to you today?

Did you tell Him, “Thank You” for the love He sent your way?

Count your many blessings and I think that you will find
The Lord has been quite generous when you were in a bind.

“Thank You Jesus” isn’t really hard to say in praise.

The words are fairly simple and will give you spiritual raise.

Think of what He did for you, He made the grandest loss
by coming into flesh and then He died upon The Cross.

Tell Him of your sins, for you, His door is never shut.

He’ll intercede on Judgment Day; He’ll be your advocate.

He shed His Blood to give you life, with Him eternal bliss.

Believe in it with all your heart and you will never miss.

It really isn’t hard to let Christ know just how you feel.

Knowing that He’s there for you can make your life so real.

He takes away your sins and He gives you life anew.

He heals you when you’re sick and He cheers you when you’re blue.

“Thank You Jesus”, three small words, to let Him know you care
about the wondrous deed He did, you know it’s only fair.

“Thank You Jesus” for Your Blood that gives eternal life.

“Thank You Jesus” for Your Love that takes away my strife.

Soldier Of God

March 1, 2002

Satan is a foe that fights with cunning tricks and lies.

He’ll tempt you with all sorts of things to make your interest rise.

He offers worldly honor and possessions for a fee.

Your soul is what he’s after and his trickery is the key.

His army is as vast as all the seas and oceans are.

They offer you the world, but in the end you’ll be a char.

The one thing he can’t offer, though his tongue cuts like a knife,
the one thing he can’t offer is this prize “Eternal Life”.

He’ll say that you can have all, since possession is his scheme.

But, through his lies and trickery, these things you can’t redeem.

The worldly items he can give can’t follow in the end.

On Judgment Day, your faith in God is all you can depend.

Our Lord in Heaven needs you to be part of His regime.

You’re needed as the structure of a house it needs the beam.

Just like the plants of Earth depend on water and the sod
The Lord, needs your commitment to be deemed Soldier Of God.

God’s Army will be filled with men and Angels from above.

They’ll strike like many lightning bolts, but sent down on a dove.

God’s power is immeasurable, His Wrath none can compare

To be called a Soldier Of God you know is savoir-faire.

The Sabbath

March 4, 2002

The Sabbath is the day of rest, God’s Break from all creation.

We’re asked to set this day aside to save our tribulation.

Some see this as our Saturday, our calendric conception.

Others it is Sunday of the day Christ’s Resurrection.

Does it really matter which day man holds as of Holy?

Is it not more prudent that we choose a day just solely?

Do not judge a man for worshipping a certain day.

It’s that he does, that counts the most and not as in the way.

The Lord took six whole days to build the universe we know.

He rested for a day and from this act was meant to show.

He wants us all to work six days and after we should rest,
nor slave or beast of burden not a soul put to the test.

According to the Scripture on that day set many limits.

A man should walk not more that day than nigh two thousand cubits.

This walk, in layman’s terms, a mere three thousand feet in distance,

Should a man stray from his house and that’s just one for instance.

Should we hold each other guilty for a slip or two?

Are we all not brothers making God’s Work more the true?

If your Sabbath, it should fall, on one day or the other
I, myself, will still claim you as in Our Christ a brother.

A Joyful Noise

March 5, 2002

Everyday, unto The Lord lets make a joyful noise.

Whether it’s a song or just “Praise God” unbridled poise.

It’s my opinion that The Lord will smile when He does hear
a song or worship word or two out loud and with no fear.

If you feel the urge to speak to God then let it be.

If others think you are a fool they of your love can’t see.

You have a right, a right from God, to make your feelings known.

What good does praise and worship do if none of it is shown?

For those of you with voices pure, then sing God’s Songs aloud.

Sing them true when you’re alone or even in a crowd.

You minstrels, play your harps and lyre, to worship Christ Our Lord
and make a joyful noise unto Our God a wondrous chord.

At times the souls around you think, “he’s just a smidgeon weird,”
but know The Lord, He loves you, this should rid all things you feared.

God loves to hear His People chant their praises all as one.

No other sounds on Earth or Heaven can be overdone.

To vocalize your feelings is the best of therapy.

Feel no shame to utter words to God and you will see.

So, if you have an urge to make, to God, a Joyful Noise
then open up your heart and it will bring you equipoise.

God’s Word

March 10, 2002

God’s Word is written in The Bible, this I think you know.

It’s only good if It is read, like seeds, you need to sow.

A tattered Bible shows Its owner searched for way of life.

A Bible never opened does no good for inner-life.

To have a life that’s filled and blessed, to study is a need.

The Bible is your study guide, It is the Holy Seed.

A well read Bible is a tool, a mighty hammer’s blow
to drive the largest nail into the hardest wood we know.

God knew that questions, we would have and answers He did give.

He wrote them all, a group of Books, The Bible It does live.

It helps you through your hardest times, It gives you life anew.

There are no errors written there, all words in It are true.

It’s written for all readers, none too old or young to know.

If understanding is too tough, a prayer to God will show.

If you think that you’re too good or pompous for The Word
then to this bard your attitude is just a bit absurd.

God’s Word, It is the secret to a new eternal life.

It holds all answers asked of Him, It is the sharpest knife.

The Bible is a closet full of keys to every lock.

The keys to locks of life and He will answer if you knock.

Written Of Old

March 12, 2002

I’ve been told by a few that the Laws of the old
have been canceled since Christ is here, I’ve been told.

I’m just a bit unclear what changes are made
or the order of God, what’s the act that’s been played.

There’s a phrase that’s in Matthew, Five, Seventeen,
that is spoken by Jesus when a crowd He was seen.

“Do not think I have come to abolish the Law
or the Prophets;”
The Bible is where this I saw.

“I’ve come not to abolish them but to fulfill
I tell you the truth,”
this word now is real.

“Until Heaven and Earth disappear,” it gets better,
it does say in The Book,
“not the smallest of letter.”

“Not the least stroke of pen,” there is nothing to fear,
”from the Law will by any means just disappear.”

“Until everything God has planned is accomplished.”

So plain it is written and it’s almost the simplest.

Now I know with this, Christ gave us new law
and taught us to love and forgive, this I saw.

But to throw away all that was written of old
is a gesture that seems just a bit harsh and bold.

Owning The Land

March 15, 2002

In all of our glory we take much for truth,
distorting our values, clouding our youth.

We think that we own all our weak eyes survey,
but really our egos, our lives do betray.

We buy every treasure and item at hand.

We make a big deal about owning the land.

We mark all our boundaries with merely a rod
not thinking that all this belongs just to God.

He owns all the oceans and all of the seas.

He owns all the land and the grass and the trees.

He created from nothing, all you see and you know.

He lets the things live from the seeds that we sow.

He made all the stars that we see in the sky
and the beauty of all that is held in the eye.

A galaxy viewed from a point quite afar
is beyond things beheld, a pristine avatar.

Our bodies and souls are His Pride and His Joy.

We’re made in His Image and not as a toy.

The Lord is in charge, God is owning the land.

We are cast from its dust.  We are molded from sand.

God’s Time For Hire

March 16, 2002

Everything in life for sale, nothing for free, not wood or nail.

You pay a man to sing a song, actors to act, it seems all wrong.

You drive forever and a day to buy a block or brick to lay.

You take more time to fix your hair than you would spend once you were there.

If you don’t feel all dressed and prim, you “just won’t go”, won’t take a whim.

You drive across a city far, I guess that’s why man built the car,
to buy a meal or see a show, ‘cause all’s much better there, you know.

As if the further that you drive the food tastes better, life’s more alive.

A house is not a house, you know, unless a palace ‘tis to show.

Food, of course, is not as good unless it cost more like it should.

The clothing placed upon your back, without the tag, it’s just a sack.

The car you drive must be a jewel, a fine white horse, can’t ride a mule.

The Kingdom of Our Holy God, no money gives the “Enter” nod.

Only your work on Earth will show, not what you own or what you know.

To claim your seat beside His Throne can only come from love that’s shown.

The Lord will take you all the same, but first you have to call His Name.

He’ll plead your case at Heaven’s Gate, it’s not for free, your soul must rate.

If in your time with man, your fame, was for the Love Of Christ, your claim.

When painters seek where fresh is paint is like one preaching to a Saint.

To pull a sinner from the fire is why you’re here, God’s Time For Hire.

The Lord Has A Need

March 24, 2002

Everyone has special talent it’s true
The Lord has a need, He puts them in you.

Whether building or carving or writing it be
we all are blessed solely of this you can see.

Pray to The Lord to show you His Plan.

He’ll show you His Need; He’ll show that you can.

To give to The Lord with your special good skill
helps you feel closer to Him, you’ll climb up the hill.

I asked The Lord, one day, in my daily prayer
to give me a task or duty to care.

He showed me my talent, a poetic song
and showed I should post all my words right or wrong.

I write from my heart after prayer for a lead

I feel that The Lord gives me help, plants the seed.

I write what I hear in my soul from inside.

I try not to mask or a word do I hide.

My love for The Lord, growing stronger each day.

I show it with smiles and the words that I say.

The Lord has a need for us all to combine
our work on the Earth will one day be Divine.

The Greatest Sacrifice

April 1, 2002

Day to day and time to time we all give up for good
a treasure that’s so dear to us or something like we should.

God’s people in the days of old would take a lamb so pure
and spill its blood to honor Him, a sacrifice made sure.

They picked a spotless perfect lamb, a treasure for The Lord.

It mattered not if they were poor or ever could afford.

To honor God, there in that day, a key to Heaven’s Gate,
an offer of The Passover, these things that they relate.

We ask sometimes these days of things that we might do or say
to give The Lord a Sacrifice, to do it in our way.

To slaughter a fine animal is not a Holy Rite
that people in our day and time would partake in God’s Sight.

We give up other treasures, so to show our Love for Him,
like fasting before Easter or forgo another whim.

To give up something special isn’t hard for you to do
the treasure that you reap from this is worth ten fold for you.

To slaughter tiny animals, the need has gone away.

God listens to your every need, you only need to pray.

God made the Greatest Sacrifice, the ultimate in loss,
when He did give His Only Son to die upon The Cross.

True Light

April 10, 2002

Not always what’s seen with your eyes to believe
for things, as they look, aren’t shown to perceive.

We take it for granted, this good sense of sight,
but is it the truth, the one good true light?

To seek all in life that is good for reward
isn’t always the things that you get from The Lord.

From God you receive a sight not from the sun,
but It’s the one True Light and bettered by none.

God gives us gifts that can’t always be seen
or heard of or felt or of nothing between.

To look, but forever, shall never be found,
It gives off no light or an audible sound.

To see It you must open full of your soul
to hear It and feel It and make you quite whole.

To gain Its true brilliance, then feel with your heart.

That’s what makes us human, it sets us apart.

Believe not, just always, the sight of your eyes
or sound in your ears, the world’s filled with lies.

Just seek The Lord’s True Light, It shines on us all,
but only your love and belief makes the call.

Love Of The Lord

April 10, 2002

What’s the best way for love of The Lord to be shown?

Should you jump up and down with a fit that is thrown?

Should you sing and recite words of wisdom you’ve learned
or just kneel by the alter with incense to burn?

Should you sit wordless, quietly praying alone
or collapse on the floor with your body all prone?

Should you shout out aloud, “Jesus, my Lord above,
you’re my God In The Heavens, The Root of all Love”?

Maybe speaking in tongues is the way that you feel
that you best can display, that your worship is real.

Is it wrong if all that you do in God’s Name,
is not all that’s in glory to God all the same?

Why not sing and play harps and profess all you know
about God and the wonders to all that you show.

If it makes you feel closer to Almighty God
then you make all the noise that you can, it’s not odd.

Who can tell you the way that your praise should be dealt?

Who knows all in your heart or the Holiness felt?

If it makes you feel closer to God, then it’s good.

If, to you, it is glory, it is what, then, you should.

Keep Your Sins At Bay

April 16, 2002

I seem to notice some who think that sin is washed away
by walking through a church when it is opened any day.

They ask the preacher there that they would like to bear their soul,
”Please, Baptize me and make me clean and make my body whole.”

But then they leave the church and walk into the corner bar
and have a drink or ten and brag, “I’m Holy now by far.”

“I think I’ll drink to that,” and they buy another round
not thinking that the cleansing bathe fell swiftly to the ground.

Your sins, forgiven truly, with a word to God ‘tis true.
”To go now and you sin no more,” is what is asked of you.

To go to church, a boost for faith will help you find the way.

But, living in the church will never keep your sins at bay.

A Baptism will truly wash your sins, a cleansing act.

This water falls from you as soon as you are stepping back.

To keep your soul as pure as that momentous Blessed day,
you’ll have to sin no more, as pure as water you should stay.

If in your daily prayer you ask The Lord of you forgive
He’ll take into account your deeds, He’ll run them through His Sieve.

Because you cleanse yourself of sin means not that you are pure.

It only gives another chance, this moment it’s a cure.

The Lord’s Prayer

April 23, 2002

“Our Father, Who is in Heaven,” means
He’s here and there in all the scenes.

“Hallowed be Your Name” to say
God’s great and Holy everyway.

“Your Kingdom come, Your will be done,”
we know He’ll reign on Earth, bar none.

“On Earth as it is in Heaven,” sure
a place for us to live so pure.

“Give us this day, our daily bread,”
assures we all are kept and fed.

“Forgive our sins, as we forgive,”
a code with others we should live.

“Lead us not to temptation,”
protect us from things we should shun.

“Deliver us from evil,” Lord
protecting us from Satan’s sword.

“For Yours is the Kingdom,” true
that gives us Holy life that’s new.

“The Power and the Glory,” see
no greater could there ever be.

“Forever and ever and ever, Amen”

The Rock

April 25, 2002

Lord, You are the mighty Rock on which I humbly stand.

The shield that keeps me safe from harm, the cupping of Your Hand.

I pray each day to keep my loved ones safe from any harm
and hold us all so close to you inside Your Mighty Arm.

Lord, You are the mighty Rock that keeps me on my course.

I seek Your Words for wisdom and Your Spirit is my force.

To trust in You, my faith is strong, You are my day and night.

I relish every task You give me, You‘re my Holy Light.

Lord, You are the mighty Rock, my foundation secure.

The Holy Bible holds the key, its promulgations pure.

To read the pages full of Love You pour to all your sheep
is likened to a mother with the child she lulls to sleep.

Lord, You are the mighty Rock, a roof above my head.

You put my fears to rest each night before I go to bed.

My prayers each night, before I sleep, I ask You wash my sins
and make my place at Your Great Side, the shepherd’s lamb He tends.

Lord, You are the mighty Rock that all my faith is based.

Without it would be like a food you couldn’t even taste.

You comfort me when I am low and lift me on to high.

With You I know I’ll never thirst my well is never dry.

Never Deny Him

May 8, 2002

Of The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost.

Are They of three or like sand on the coast?

Connected like points on a map of your soul
to make you a route to a life that is whole.

If you believe you will look for the way
that The Lord has designed for our lives every day.

If you love Him you’ll follow His many commands
and try not to sin, your temptations withstand.

You’ll never deny Him when lost in a crowd
of sinners and demons, show of Him you’re proud.

Even if evil ones threaten your life,
praise The Lord Jesus, His Word will suffice.

The Lord will remember you at Heaven’s Gate.

He’ll stand up and give you new life that is great.

He’ll make sure your name’s in the great Book Of Life.

He’ll end all your troubles; He’ll end all your strife.

Never deny Him, He’s King of all men.

Ask that He looks past your Earthly past sin.

Never deny Him and He won’t deny
your name to Our God, this should tell you why.

The Temple Of God

May 13, 2002

Where is the place where Our Lord calls His Home?

Is it clad all in brick and a large golden dome?

Does it have a grand gate, pictured windows around?

Could it be a pitched tent set on top of the ground?

Do you think that you hide from the devil in church?

Will it turn him to stone or give him a lurch?

Don’t you think that he might just be in the front row
to soak up God’s Children with hatred he’ll sow?

The Bible says God’s Very Home’s in us all,
a temple to care for, a grand holy hall.

God’s Church, it says, is where we two or more
gather in His Grand Name, whether out or indoor.

The fellowship held with a union of minds
praising God with all passion and prayer of all kinds.

Matters little if quiet or a deafening roar,
The Lord hears us all, sees the Love when we soar.

The Temple Of God, It’s here in us all.

It doesn’t have brick or a fine marble hall.

Find a brother, a friend or a stranger or two
and praise Our Great Father with faith found anew.

Gathering Souls

May 23, 2002

Gathering souls for The Lord is the way
to strengthen the army He’ll need on that day
when we fight against Satan to claim what is ours
like the spring brings the rain that will water the flowers.

If you stand at the door of a church, all the while,
you will miss all the souls that God needs by a mile.

We must gather the souls that are lost in the mist.

Those that Satan has claimed, all the while that were missed.

You can never push string up a hill, this assured,
but a light gentle pull will accomplish inured.

Show the faithless your life with The Lord, so Divine
and they’ll slowly, but surely, be lured by design.

When they say, “You are crazy”, say, “Yes, for The Lord.”

Slowly, but surely, they will come to accord.

When they see you are shameless when you shout His Great Name
they will come to The Lord, and their soul He will claim.

Gathering souls for The Lord is our deed.

If you want a great garden, you must first plant the seed.

Gathering souls for The Lord in us all
will make you feel proud, it will make you stand tall.

My Father’s Arm

June 4, 2002

Satan, you should flee from me, I am My Father’s Arm.

I fear, of you, but least of all, to me you’ll do no harm.

My Lord, The Christ, He holds the keys to your abyss domain.

You’ll never win my soul or heart, of me you’ll never reign.

My power is the greatest found, it comes from Heaven’s Throne.

It made the stars, so high above and all that’s thought and shown.

My Father’s Arm, so powerful, a universal rate,
will tear you from your putrid throne and wrench your world of hate.

Temptation is your only tool, you use it to deceive.

You splay it in the weak man’s face, your lies, who will believe.

I’d sooner die a million deaths than take your ugly hand
to pull me from a pit of mud or pool of salty sand.

My Father’s Arm will be your fate, a doom you know so well,
although the end will see you try, He’ll throw you back to hell.

You’ll never see eternal life; you’ll never have His Love.

You chose to look into a pool and think you are the dove.

My Father’s Arm embraces all who take Him by the hand
and love Him with their very soul and keep His Word’s Demand.

Satan, you should flee from me, I am My Father’s Arm.

I hold you back with Devine Word, a blockade to your charm.

Day With A Prayer

June 8, 2002

God gives me strength to survive a hard day
and the trials of my life, gives me words I should say.

He clears all my paths just to save me from grief.

He makes the sun shine and He gives me relief.

I start every day with prayer asking God
to forgive all my sins; be my staff and my rod.

I ask Him to bless all the loved ones I know
and for things I should do, this I ask Him to show.

I pray that His Powerful Hand be a shield
for my country and day as a sword I can wield.

I ask that our leaders be led by His Will
and that surely they know how all people do feel.

I ask Him to get me so safely away
to survive all the dangers and heat of the day.

I pray that He keeps Satan locked in his hole
and temptation kept from me, a cleansing of soul.

I thank Him for all of the blessing He gives
and the Love that He shows so I know that He lives.

Several times through the day and most certainly the end
I pray for my soul and our lives God to tend.

The Ten Commandments

June 11, 2002

The Lord gave us Rules set to govern our ways.

Ten Rules, called Commandments, ‘till the end of our days.

The first, Lord is God, no other to be.

The second, no idols before you or me.

The third says to use not The Lord’s Name in vain.

This habit can curse you or drive you insane.

The forth, you’re to keep God’s Day ever Holy.

Just limit your work and give Praise to God solely.

The fifth says to honor your Mom and your Dad
to live long and prosper, don’t make The Lord sad.

The sixth, you shall never, but never shall murder.

You’re held by your actions, whether king or a herder.

The seventh, you shall not commit adultery.

Marry and honor your spouse, that’s the key.

The eighth says that you shall not take or not steal.

The sins you commit will be harder to heal.

The ninth says to never bear false testimony.

To lie against brother shows you’re just a phony.

The tenth, you shall not have want for the wife
or possessions of others, these ways for your life.

God Is One

July 25, 2002

God, Our Father, is The God of all no matter who
they call Him by another name, there is one God ‘tis true.

Egyptians called on many, thought they had so many then.

God created all no matter what has ever been.

God created Satan and his minions long ago
and Satan wanted men to think he was supreme, you know.

Satan was an Angel with a beauty none compare.

His vanity became his mortal fate; to his despair.

Men worshipped, in the days of old, more “gods” than you could count,
but none more than mere minions of the devil, none surmount.

I shudder when I hear those claim that God is best of all.
For whom could they compare Him, He is One, none else to call.

God is One, His Spirit shown, unmeasured any scale.

He reaches universal in us all too grand to tell.

You cannot put a size or any weight to show His Place
or paint a picture saying, “This The Father’s Holy Face.”

God is One, we’re one with God His Spirit in us all
and everything and everywhere He answers when you call.

God is One no other can proclaim God’s Throne you’ll see.

God is One, no other has or ever will there be.

His Infinite Spirit

July 31, 2002

The universe is but a speck upon His Mighty Chest.

His Arms reach on forever more; His Love will find no crest.

His Spirit is most infinite, always will it be.

He towers over all that is, just like a mighty tree.

Forgiveness is His Middle Name, although we call Him God.

If you invite Him in your heart, assured your soul is shod.

There never was a time when He was not a part of all
and never will there be a time you, of His Love, can’t call.

His Spirit is most infinite; It has no start or end.

He gave you something special,’twas your very soul to tend.

He placed it in a body that is part of Jesus Christ
and together we embody Him this treasure can’t be priced.

The Lord, Our God, The Holy Spirit call Him as you will.

He is, but one, none to compare, your soul with Him to fill.

He parts the oceans with a breath, brings mountains to their knees.

He spins the universe around, His Will, It sprouts the trees.

His Spirit is most infinite, He gives all that is life
and moves the tides across the Earth, His Power is but rife.

His Spirit is most infinite, His Love is boundless true
and we can live forever in His Home our bodies new.

The Path To Holiness

September 11, 2002

Is Holiness a place you want to ride so far to be
or peer upon Its gates or come into Its ports by sea?

Is there a map to guide your way or set you on the path?

Can you calculate Its wealth if you’re so good at math?

There is, but one true path to take to find the Pearly Gates.

You cannot leave this choice to whim or trust it to all fates.

The path is known as Righteousness, so straight and is so true.

If followed to the end of time, true glory will ensue.

The map is here to help you find your way eternal life.

It also holds instructions to obliterate your strife.

Sixty-six full books of love to guide you on your way.

The Bible is the only truth; all other word is gray.

The Lord will help you through the maze of turns you come along.

Through prayer He will instruct you in a thought as of a song.

The Path To Holiness will never come to you by fate.

When you find It there’s no lock on that grand Pearly Gate.

All you have to do is simply “seek and you will find.”

“Knock and doors will open, answers asked will fill your mind.”

The Path To Holiness is but a street that is one way.

Reward will come to those that seek, upon that final day.

We’re In The Lord Is In Us All

September 20, 2002

We are in The Lord is surely found within us all
in the winter and the spring, in summer and the fall.

Christ is found in God is in The Son, who is The Christ.

This means that we are one with God, this never can be priced.

We’re in The Lord is in us all, our spirit tells the tale.

It’s felt in prayer and when we speak His Name will never fail.

His promise is to be with us until He comes again
and on that day, we too, will resurrect life to begin.

Christ told us to remember Him by keeping His True Word
and if we love Him we will follow His way that we heard.

To love each other as He loves us is His Basic Need.

To tell of His Great Love to all, like planting of a seed.

We’re in The Lord is in us all, to understand His Love
is likened to the babies cared for by the Mother Dove.

Believe He is The Father’s Son and we are in Him true
and He is in us all, because He loves both me and you.

To find Him, merely ask for His Great Love to come to you
and wonders beyond realms of life are surely to ensue.

We are in The Lord is surely found within us all
in the winter and the spring, in summer and the fall.

(click to read about The Light Of The Lord)

The Light Of The Lord

September 29, 2002

The Light of The Lord doesn’t shine from the sun
or a star in the sky or a source made for fun.

It is energy pure from The Spirit Of God
for your soul to receive, all else a facade.

Satan is called by a few he deceives,
the king of the darkness, sure this he believes.

He rules nothing more than the lies that he tells,
the sin he portrays, the evil he sells.

The Light of The Lord fills us all with the truth,
from the oldest of old and the youngest of youth.

The Light of The Lord is God’s Spirit aglow.

It gives your heart strength and all good that you know.

Satan’s darkness, they call, has no power to spread,
no greatness to give or no wisdom to shed.

He’s only of lies and deception’s his tool,
his power extends to the one he can fool.

This darkness is only a lack of The Light
that The Lord shines on all seeking only what’s right.

Satan has shielded himself from The Light.

He’ll never know glory, he’ll never know right.

Preach For Free

October 6, 2002

A butterfly that drifts along a gentle summer breeze,
he pays no tax or duties, there just are no drifting fees.

The clouds, they ride a current, which is going just its way.

The current never charges not a penny does it pay.

A leaf, it gently floats along a winding mountain stream.

There is no toll or purchase price, it’s just as in a dream.

The pollen takes a ride on bees that feed upon its home
to sow the seed, to make it work, it never has to roam.

As the smoke, it billows up and floats into the sky.

We share The Word Of God for free, there’s nothing there to buy.

I tell the things of Christ to all the people that I see.

I’m happy when it brings a smile, I do it all for free.

If Jesus had intended us to charge for blessings said,
The Bible would have meters with a dial that could be read.

God’s Words were given to all men, He never had a charge.

Like air we breathe for all that’s small and everything so large.

To tithe is such a blessed gift between yourself and God.

A marriage and a union like the plant that has the sod.

I preach for free because The Lord has asked I spread The Word.

Like robins sing because they can, a happy little bird.

Free Will

October 09, 2002

A million, million universes held within His Hand,
His Spirit flows through everything like water flows through sand.

He gave us something special, quite a gift that made us real.

A gift withheld from others, it’s a gift He called free will.

We had a choice from our begin it stays with us today.

We ate the fruit of knowledge while in Eden, in this way.

Because we have this free will we can choose from good or bad.

For sinners, not a good thing, but all Christians should be glad.

Satan found a hate for us because God loved man so.

He tries to trick us into sin so with him we will go.

The only Way is through Our Lord and Jesus is His Name.

To say It close to Satan’s hordes will drive them all insane.

You know that there is right and wrong, we learn this as a child.

When you choose the wrong in life, your soul it is defiled.

I feel The Holy Spirit when I minister with friends.

It makes my spirit glow so strong, the love that it portends.

Free will is the gift that God reserved for man alone.

No other creature on the Earth has this right it’s shown.

God loves us more than ever on this Earth we’ll ever know.

That’s why He gave us free will, your decisions here will show.

Baptism

October 13, 2002

Baptism is a word that has a varied meaning true.

The most important thing is what the act can do for you.

By definition, simply it just means to be immersed.

The act, which means much more, we hope our sins they are dispersed.

Of Water, ’tis the act to wash away your mortal sin.

An act of faith that asks The Lord that of your life come in.

It’s a pact you make with God that says you’ll seek His Way
and ask you be remembered at the end on Judgment Day.

Of Spirit, given by The Christ to love Him is a must.

With daily prayer just ask for Holy Spirit He can trust.

The Holy Spirit fills your soul and gives you life anew
and makes you want to bring your friends into this life so true.

Of Fire, this is the way of God, to man He does appear.

For Moses in a burning bush whose leaves they did not sear.

Above the Ark Of Covenant a fiery, burning cloud
appeared to all to cover God, a great and mighty shroud.

Baptism of Water, Spirit and of Holy Fire,
if in a sackcloth or a suit, no worth for your attire.

Baptism, a rebirth, born anew from God above.

The reward is a place with God a place so full of love.

The Lord Is The Word

November 17, 2002

Our Lord, Jesus Christ, The Salvation for man,
comes to all in The Spirit who receive all they can.

He is given to us through the stories we heard.

Jesus Christ is Our Savior and He’s also The Word.

The Lord is The Word and The Word is The Lord.

To Satan, His Mouth wields a double-edged sword.

When you read from The Bible and pray for His Love
He will come to your side like a Heavenly Dove.

“In the beginning was The Word and The Word was with God.”

You can find this in John chapter one; it’s your rod.

Christ, always has and always He will be
with God from the start, Holy Love for you and me.

With The Word you have all, it’s your key to new life,
then The Lord will be in you, He’ll take all your strife.

The Word is The Lord and The Lord is The Word.

One is all, you can say, like a dove is a bird.

He’s The Father, The Son and, of course, Holy Ghost.

I’m His servant for all and it’s never impost.

He’s The Mighty, The King; He’s Our Lord and Our God.

He’s our Medium for life like the seed has the sod.

Faith

November 23, 2002

The Lord will answer all your prayers if in His Name you ask.

He doesn’t ask for money or for you to serve some task.

There is no trick to salvation, no key or fancy goal.

Just faith will wash away your woes and help you cleanse your soul.

Faith, the secret to success, it’s really all you need.

Jesus said this of it, “Just that of a mustard seed
is all you need to move a mountain here to over there.”

Just love Him and you keep His Word and of your soul to bear.

There came upon The Lord one day a grand Centurion.

“My servant lies at home in pain,” he asked The Lord God’s Son.

He said, “Lord, I’m not worthy that You come beneath my roof,”

“but if You say he will be healed, it’s done, I need no proof.”

At this Our Lord just marveled and He said to those around,
“No greater faith than in this man that I have ever found.”

“Go to your servant he is well, your faith has healed his plight.”

You see that faith has power; it is filled with Heaven’s Might.

So, if you think that you can’t have the wonders from above,
it’s not about your life force it is simply cast from love.

Faith, it is the secret to all treasures from The Lord.

Faith will give you everything; it is your Holy Sword.

Giving Thanks

November 25, 2002

Our Heavenly Father, Creator of all,
upon Your Glorious Name we call.

To thank You for the Love perceived
and all the food for life received.

O Father, Lord our God for us
Your Love so grand and glorious,
You take away our tears and woes
and guard us from the worst of foes.

You give us all, Your servants true.

We seek eternal life with You.

At Heaven’s Gate You’ll judge our sin.

You know our hearts and thoughts within.

We’re giving thanks this time of year
for drying up our every tear.

You give us love, You give us life,
You soothe our woes and heal our strife.

We’re giving thanks to You O Lord.

You shield us with Your Flaming Sword.

You give our souls a grand uplift.

We’re giving thanks for this great gift.

God’s Heart

March 13, 2003

What is the price that a soul should afford
to be deemed, just so simple, a child of The Lord?

Is the tithe that you pay when you worship in church
the qualification to quench this true search?

Is this slot made so special that few can comply,
like the bird with a feather, only creature to fly?

How many souls on the Earth do you think
have met all the goals so His Cup they can drink?

Does God only love all the people that pray
and dance in the pews with a holy display?

Will He heal drunken men who have been in a fight
or does pity He have for these wayward soul’s plight?

Is there room in God’s Heart for a man in a box
who’s alone in this world with a life of hard knocks?

Does He cull out our druggies and dregs in our yard
or the homeless with issues that put us on guard?

Don’t you know that Our Lord loves us all just the same.

He sees deep inside where ourselves we do blame.

His Love, never ending, spread so equal to all
and He asks that we do just the same, that’s His call.

Jars Of Clay

March 16, 2003

Paul spoke of treasures found in jars of clay,
but not gold or silver, its wealth is The Way.

It’s in earthen jars you’ll find Christ Our Lord
for in all His People The Word He did horde.

The Lord is a treasure you’ll find in no store.

It’s bought with you’re works and belief evermore.

Our bodies were given from God as His Home
to give Him a vessel in which He can roam.

We’re just jars of clay; we were cast from the earth.

God gave us life, gave us breath, and our birth.

We were cast in His Image as pods for a soul
and marked as His People with Heaven our goal.

We’re given a choice, either good or the bad.

It’s a choice everlasting, Holy life can be had.

God gave us freedom to decide our true fate
to develop true love or to nurture our hate.

We’re just jars of clay, nothing more nothing less.

We’re filled with Our Lord; know our lives He will bless.

The dust of the Earth filled our bodies of clay.

The souls held therein, God will call up one day.

Your Special Gift

March 28, 2003

We know that there are many gifts on us The Lord bestows
to help us with our Holy path, our glory as it grows.

These gifts are given if you ask The Lord to see you through.

Some hit you like a ton of bricks, for others just a clue.

If prophecy you ask of God, a blessing you can share,
to bring the spirit of The Word to other souls who care.

If wisdom or of knowledge to interpret God’s True Word
you read from Holy Books or as you seek things you have heard.

There are many other gifts you may already own
that you’ve had since youth, but now they’re that need to be sown.

Abilities to teach is quite a gift that one could have,
to make your brothers learned like to the wounded is a salve.

The gift to speak in other tongues to help a foreign soul
to understand The Word of God, you’ll play a righteous role.

Interpretation of the tongue to edify The Lord
lest others hear you babble, like a river you can’t ford.

Even skills to sew or cook or calm a crying child
can bless the body of The Church although you think it mild.

Just pray to God to show you what your special gift should be
and you might be surprised what you can do, you just might see.

Glory To Our Lord

May 30, 2003

Glory, glory, glory to Our Lord The Lamb Of God
Who took the sins of man upon The Cross, our Staff and Rod.

We all should show our love for Him by sharing His Good Word.

To save another’s soul by giving truths that you have heard.

Believe with all your heart that Baby Jesus is The Christ
and shed His Blood to save us from our sins, He paid the price.

The Lord of Lords, the King of Kings, He is Our God Our Lord.

To love Him is to keep His Word, which puts us in accord.

To take a knee and speak to God about your daily life
will ease you of the tension from your woes and earthly strife.

Prayer is our communication with Our Lord above.

Omnipotent, none can compare, yet as gentle as a dove.

We are His children formed of dust His breathe it gives us life.

He saves us from all evil and protects us from all rife.

I love The Lord with all my heart and pray forgiveness true.

He is the answer to disgrace He cheers me when I’m blue.

Glory, glory, glory to Our Lord The Lamb Of God
Who took the sins of man upon The Cross, our Staff and Rod.

The mention of His name makes evil tremble in raw fear.

He’ll cast all evil from our path to keep it true and clear.

The Names Of God

August 2, 2003

Why should we know of The Names of Our Lord?

As Elohim, Creator, He breathed to us life,
El Elyon, God Most High, to give Him our strife.

El Roi, Who Sees, knows all ever we go.

El Shaddai, Sufficient One, has all we could know.

Adonai, Our Master, The King of all kings.

As Yahweh, the Rabbis, this Name never sings.

Jehovah, The Lord and as Jireh, provides

Called Nissi, My Banner, we’re to boast of His Name.

Mekoddishkem, Who Sanctifies you, cleansing your blame.

Raah, My Shepherd, the name of our boasts.

God Is

October 3, 2004

I know God Is that we may be

He spoke in the land and the vast blue sea.

If God were not we never would

He Is and that’s the way it should.

He paints the sky with the moon and stars

To give us guiding lights afar.

The sun it shines and brings us life

that God created full and rife.

God is more than you may know.

He calms the sea and makes things grow.

His Son He gave to save all souls.

Almighty God, our praise extols.

Our Lord He died upon a cross

to save our souls so none are lost.

He only asks that you believe.

Eternal life you will receive.

I know God Is that we may be.

He soothes our woes and sets us free.

The chains of bondage never more,

He gave us life, forever for.

I Am The Voice

May 14, 2005

I am a voice who brings The Word to soothe another’s soul.

The hand that offers food and rest, The Lord remains my goal.

I am the foot that takes a stand and calls my Lord and God.

His Name, it is my Mighty Staff, The Word it is my Rod.

My Lord, He sends me where a need is brewing out of doubt.

The Holy Spirit forms The Word; that’s what it is about.

The Lord, He moves my hand to dry a tear, another’s need.

He has me take Him to one lost and plant His Word as Seed.

I am a vessel filled with Light which shines from Christ My Lord.

There is no mountain I can’t cross or river I can’t ford.

The faith of but a mustard seed will give you all you ask.

But serving Our Great Father, God, is such a noble task.

The Holy Spirit fills my soul and points to those in need.

He fills my mouth with words of hope; He helps me plant the seed.

Like a beacon in the night from me within He shines.

No demon can approach me; they fear and know the signs.

I am a voice who brings The Word to soothe another’s soul.

The hand that offers food and rest, The Lord remains my goal.

I am the foot that takes a stand and calls my Lord and God.

His Name, it is my Mighty Staff, The Word it is my Rod.

A Whisper

July 12, 2005

Who can bring the ocean on the shoulders of a cloud?

Its own majestic vastness is all painted in white shroud.

It waters all God’s flowers with a sprinkle here and there.

It brings a mighty deluge, taking life with great despair.

The air we breathe, a gentle mist, its life we take as ours,

you hardly know it’s there; it’s like the light from all the stars.

Yet, when it’s blown across the sand much faster ever more,

it forms a wall that chips away the mountains to the floor.

The light that shines from our great sun to warm us when we’re cold,

is brought to us from far away it’s eight whole minutes old.

But like the wind, its energy, can tear away our skin

And boil the ocean’s water ‘till its dust lay there within.

Elijah stood upon the mountain waiting for The Lord.

A wind did come, a mighty wind, and dashed it like a sword,

But in the wind he searched for truth, but truth, He was not there.

“Where are you Lord?” Elijah thought, this made him really stare.

And then along there came a quake and shook the stones away,

A fire ensued, but neither held God’s Face, Our Lord, Yahweh.

But then a whisper, soft and sweet, he heard it come his way

And in it was The Voice Of God, you’re never led astray.

The Book Of Love

July 12, 2005

The Book Of Love or should I say, a Book of many Books;

reflecting all The Love Of God for them who cares and looks.

The Word contained It always was and ever will It be.

With God and Christ, It always was and is I’m sure you’ll see.

We know It as The Bible and God gave This Word for free.

To know It is to know Our Lord, of life it is The Key.

It only works if It is read, unopened It is naught.

It holds the answers to your prayers and knowledge you have sought.

The Book Of Love, It tells of love Our Lord He has for all.

He knocks to enter in your life; your faith for Him He’ll call.

His Grace will clean your sins away and make you right and whole.

Inheritance, His Kingdom Come, you’ll have eternal for your soul.

If you want to know Him you must understand His Word;

much like the sheep that know the Master’s voice which they have heard.

He is Our Father, He’s Our Lord, He Loves us far beyond

our comprehension will allow; It is a Deitous Bond.

The Book Of Love or should I say, a Book of many Books;

reflecting all The Love Of God for them who cares and looks.

The Word contained It always was and ever will It be.

With God and Christ, It always was and is I’m sure you’ll see.

Christian Soldiers

September 28, 2005

I am a Christian Soldier and Our God is in command.

I have His Godly Armor and His Word at my demand.

I fight the host unholy, unclean spirits spreading sin

and send them back to Satan with their armor shredded thin.

The Holy Army of Our God, we march to Holy War.

We turn the minions of all sin back through ol’ slewfoot’s door.

We wield the Sword of Truth in hand to cleave away his lies.

The Shield of Faith to turn away attacks his word belies.

We are The Christian Soldiers, Jesus Christ, He leads the ranks.

He gives us power in The Word, for this we give Him thanks.

Jesus is Our Leader and He saves us from sure death.

He gives us life eternal and His Blood, it gives us breath.

He asks us to attack with love and kindness to all men.

You never raise your hand or fist; you know it is a sin.

Everyone was made by God; His children, they should know.

That’s why as Christian Soldiers, His Great Love to all should show.

I am a Christian Soldier and God’s Word is on my tongue.

I wish to speak It to all men; Its Love It should be sung.

I am a Christian Soldier and I bring The Christ with me.

I shouldn’t have to tell you as it should be plain to see.

The Armor Of God

October 5, 2005

As Christians we must fight a war against unholy hordes.

Sometimes it’s as the highest peak or deepest valley fjords.

To go alone and unprepared can cast you into doubt

and then the minions of all sin will know you’re faith without.

The Armor of Our Mighty God will keep you ripe for war.

The Helmet of Salvation will forestall all doubt and more.

It shows the spirits, so unclean, that you belong to Christ

and words of doubt that they might push will never you entice.

The Sandals of The Peace that Christ has left you with The Word

will give you freely ground so smooth, you’ll float just like a bird.

The Belt of Truth to gird your waist and chase away all lies

that Satan tries to tempt you with, Baal the lord of flies.

The Breastplate of all Righteousness protects your soul within

and shows through God’s Good Holy Grace you’re saved from all your sin.

The Shield of Faith will stop the throes of guilt they will project

and save you from the fires of hell that comes from Satan’s sect.

Not least at all, The Mighty Sword of Spirit made from God,

will cleave the host of unclean imps, as if they’re made of sod.

This Sword is forged from God’s Own Word, it puts you over sin

and now you have the tools you need to fight all Satan’s men.

Click The Name Below to Read a Little More about "Children Of Light"

Children Of Light

November 5, 2005

We are the soldiers of Our God’s Holy Son

who came to the earth over evil He won.

No need ever came for a joust or a fight

as He gave us His Power, the Children Of Light.

I know people call us the gentiles, I’m sure

it’s a word that just means we’re not Jew, plain and pure.

It’s the difference The Lord gave to us this new sight

and it makes us His Own; we’re the Children of Light.

We are set way aside, our salvation secure

when God, yes Our Lord gave us hearts clean and pure.

He cleansed us from sin making wrong, oh so right

to begin a new life as the Children of Light.

Yes, Jesus died on The Cross for our sins.

Only Grace can release you, on this it depends.

He has saved you from death and took over your plight

and He dubbed us His Children, dubbed the Children of Light.

Hold no shame for this title; you should wear it with pride

and the face of His Love, show it freely, don’t hide.

It’s the apex of faith; it’s your spiritual height,

so now call yourself chosen as the Children of Light.

Thanking God

November 23, 2005

Our Lord, Our God Who sits on High upon His Mighty Throne

has given us the life we have and made us not alone.

He walks with us, our daily path, and guides us free from harm.

He sends His Angels; taking guard they fill our souls with charm.

He sees to all our friends and kin and loved ones through the day

and asks us just to talk to Him, that’s why each day we pray.

We sometimes miss the need to tell Him all we know He does.

We need to say, “I Love You Lord, I Love You Just Because”.

He formed us from the dust of Earth and breathed into us life.

He loves us far beyond our scope, He does this, oh so rife.

He made for us the beauty of the open sky at night.

He filled the earth with wondrous life which makes it such a sight.

Our Lord, Our God Your Majesty, You are our Hope, You know.

You laugh with us when we are up and hold us when we’re low.

You carry us through all our life, preventing every trip.

You never let us through a crack, You never let us slip.

Our Lord, Our God for most of all I thank You for my soul.

You formed me from the dust of Earth, a crafted potter’s bowl.

My Lord, My God I seek the day I’ll look upon Your Face

and Thank You for the love You gave and most of all for grace.

Our Father’s Love

April 12, 2006

Our Father’s Love cannot be held within a mortal heart,

extending on forever and before there was a start.

We are His children and His care is more than we can know.

All He asks is of His Word, a mighty seed we sow.

A mother bird, she tends her young for all that she has breathe.

She never falters in her care; she guards them to her death.

We love our kids and give them all to help them find their way.

Our Father gives us more than all, He molded us from clay.

The sands of all the beaches are too numerous to count.

Our Father’s Love cannot be weighed; it’s more than an amount.

He promised us a home one day in Heaven high above,

to let us live forever on, this is a mighty love.

He gave to us each other and together we are one.

He gave to us salvation; yes, He gave His Only Son.

The Lord, He loves us more than we can utter with a word.

He gave The Breathe Of Life so for this chance we are assured.

Our Father’s Love cannot be held within a mortal heart,

extending on forever and before there was a start.

The Lord, His Love is perfect and it’s free to one and all.

His Love and His Salvation, can’t you hear The Father’s call.

Drink The Water

April 19, 2006

The Word of God was given, so to feed our spirit’s soul.

It is The Living Water and we are an empty bowl.

If we drink The Water it will fill us full of life;

a life that’s everlasting and fulfillment, oh so rife.

So many people turn to words that do not make the mark.

These words that have no basis, on this mission they embark.

To learn for all that’s nothing and to gain the things for naught

is to run a race to nowhere, blinded true to all who’ve sought.

The Scripture’s filled with wisdom; food for spirit, for your sake,

yet, you will not drink The Water, but you swim amidst the lake.

Many scribes with many words with many ways of life,

Will send you through blind alleys and will cut you like a knife.

The Living Water of God’s Word will steer you straight and true.

With it you’ll live forever, of all life’s secrets, holds the clue.

You will look to all men’s answers, whether honest or so fake,

yet, you will not drink The Water, but you’ll swim on through the lake.

I implore you in God’s Name to drink The Water brought by Christ.

If you want of Abraham’s true branch you would be spliced.

Do not swim amidst the lake, but of True Water you should drink.

It is Our Lord’s True Water; yes, it is the Holy Link.

Quench The Thirst

August 2, 2006

There is a river and its flow is through the city in the sky.

It flows from ‘neath the Throne of Him, Almighty God Who sits on High.

This water, more than quench the thirst, it soothes the soul and gives you life.

It soothes the soul immortal, yes, this water soothes it oh so rife.

While in our mortal bodies our poor souls cry out in raging thirst.

It cannot be just overlooked; it needs to be in some way nursed.

It does not feed on mortal food, the things we buy and plant and grow.

It needs the Truth Immortal, the true Manna, God to us did show.

We starve our souls when daily we combat the woes of life we tread.

So daily we must nourish it, replenish it, assure it’s fed.

We can not do this with the things we use for all our mortal gain.

We must feed it from our gift, the one from God we did obtain.

To Israel He gave them Manna true from Heaven it did fall.

It fed them in the desert for the forty years before their call.

He gave to us a Manna true, but from Heaven it was told.

It came to us from many scribes in many times from days of old.

You see the Manna we receive comes to us as the Holy Word.

Receive it every day as if it were a feast of bread assured.

It fills your soul up to the brim with nourishment from Lord Our God.

It is the Staff with which we walk, in Light it is our guiding Rod.

Praise Him And Worship Him

January 22, 2007

Praise Him, and worship Him, and sing to Him a song.

Fill your day with songs of joy, for of His Love you long.

He is your God, He is your King, He is your Lord of Lords.

His Holy Word is Truth, and it is Sharpest of all Swords.

Raise up to God a voice of glee, and shout to Him your love

and tell Him adoration, is your feeling from above.

Raise your hands to cast your love, and throw Him all your glee.

Cast away your pride, then look to Him, and you will see.

Praise Him, and worship Him, and call Him by His Name.

If you do this every day, then He will do the same.

How wonderful it is to know, the maker of all things

has called to you, and said your name, He is The King Of Kings.

Sing to Him a song of joy, and tell Him of your love.

The Spirit lit upon Him, in the Jordon as a Dove.

Call to Him, and tell Him that, He is your Lord and God.

Tell Him that He is your Staff, He is your Mighty Rod.

Praise Him, and worship Him, and sing to Him a song.

Fill your day with songs of joy, for of His Love you long.

He is your God, He is your King, He is your Lord of Lords.

His Holy Word is Truth, and it is Sharpest of all Swords.

The Holiest Place

February 13, 2007

Our Lord and God allowed Himself to hang upon a tree.

Forever on in life and love that with Him we could be.

He took two nails into His hands to hold His arms across

and one into His feet to hold Him to that Rugged Cross.

Jesus led a sinless life, pure in Our Father’s Eye.

We were born as sinful dregs’, a loathsome swine’s used sty.

Jesus is all Righteousness, a Banner and our Flag.

Our righteousness is but a stench, a used and dirty rag.

So many years of sinful life to put upon one Man,

but Jesus was Our Lord and God, The King of all the land.

Our sins and all iniquities and wrongful acts of flesh,

He took upon that hill that day, so we could start out fresh.

He hung upon the cross that day our burden laid on Him.

It seems the weight of all our sin would tear Him limb from limb.

The curse Lord Jesus bore that day was far too great a sight,

so God, Our Father, turned His Back, He could not face the plight.

From noon until three hours later, darkness hid the sun

and at that moment Jesus said, “I tell you it is done.”

Then the temple curtains tore completely from their space.

Now when kneeled in prayer to Christ you’re in The Holiest Place.

Praise Him

 (Of Psalm 150)

October 31, 2008

Praise the Lord our God with every breath within your soul.

Praise Him every day; to glorify Him is your goal.

Praise Him in your daily prayers and sing it in a song.

Praise His Holy Name and let Him know for Him you long.

Praise Him in your every move and in your daily walk.

Praise Him when you cast a smile and with the way you talk.

Praise His works you see each day and sing and clap your hands.

Praise Him always, this you know the Holy Word demands.

Praise the Lord, Yeshua, You are Lord and God above.

Praise the peace He brings God set upon us like a dove.

Praise You Father, thank You for the grace you give to me.

Praise You Father, Praise You Lord, in everything I see.

Praise Him when you cry about the sins He cast away.

Praise Him every moment, every second, every day.

Praise You Lord, praise You Lord, praise Your Holy Name.

Praise You for Your sacrifice and taking all my blame.

Let everything that has the breath of life say praise the Lord.

Praise You Father and from me, please know You are adored.

Everything that has the breath of life, should praise our King.

Praise Him when you play the harp and praise Him when you sing.

The Path

September 1, 2009

Our Father’s Love is felt with every dawning of the day.

It echoes through the forest, on the water it does lay.

All His creatures, great and small, rejoice it with a song.

They know that in His mighty hands is where they do belong.

He gives within us all a special gift for us to hold.

He asks us all to trust in Him, worth more than any gold.

A home to hold His Spirit set to lead us through our days

and teach us all about Him and to know His special ways.

His way is but a narrow line, a path for us to walk.

He guides us through it, righting us and asks we, “Never balk.”

He gives us guidance in His Word, a rock on which to stand.

He gives us all the choice to make, it’s never a demand.

This path, yes it’s a narrow line, but never walk alone.

He walks with us for every step, for sin we must atone.

His rules are simple, trust in Him and He will see our way.

Have faith in Him, our righteousness, our thirst He will allay.

The path to Heaven, is a very narrow little line,

but sing about it; treat it as our only love and shrine.

The path to Heaven leads to something greater than this land,

for at the end we have a home that’s made without a hand.
