The Continued Testimony Of Pastor David Halford

      Firestorm From The Sky    

First I want to say that I make no claim to be righteous or otherwise deserving to receive any favor from God.  I pray often, study the Word regularly and try to serve God with all my heart, but I am not special or feel that I deserve more than others.  I also will not try to lead anybody to believe anything they feel is not true or a possibility.  I am reporting in this testimony a dream that I had.  It was a very memorable dream and was, to me, very real and left me with a memory of the Lord and I truly felt that He gave me a moment of “revealing”, therefore, I felt the need to record this in the form of a testimony.

I recorded this event on October 29, 2008 0600 CDT to the best of my memory and ability and promise it to be true and accurate as it was portrayed to me.

I was deep in sleep when a very vivid dream came to me.  It was as if God called out to me and said, “Behold!!!”  When I looked I saw the Earth Rotating on its axis and revolving around the sun.  My viewing platform was deep in space so I could see the arc of the Earth’s revolution, but still close enough to see the Earth as a whole and discern macroscopic activity on the Earth (i.e. I could see the clouds, countries and oceans clearly).

Then, there was a vast debris field in the path of the Earth as if a giant asteroid or comet had exploded and covered our trip around the sun for millions of miles.  There were chunks the size of mountains or icebergs down to grains of sand and dust.  Make no mistake, there was a lot of it and the Earth was heading directly into it and would be in it for a very long time.  Through all of this, there was an unseen voice commentating on all that was happening.  Whether this was an Angel of God, Enoch, Elijah or the Father Himself voicing the events as they unfolded, I can't say.

As the Earth plowed into it, the field began to rain onto the Earth as fire from the sky, but covering the Earth everywhere.  It was a massive and global firestorm.  My vision of this was as if I could see it with thermal vision and the larger parts would show very hot fireballs and the lighter parts streaked and fell as fire rain on all the lands and seas.  The entirety of the land was burning.  Much of the trees were being destroyed, but there were no parts of the Earth not scorched.

As the Earth migrated through the field, it began to slow down, not only its revolution around our sun, but the speed at which the Earth rotated slowed.

I immediately awoke and looked at the time.  It was 0330 CDT.

I received no timelines or anything I would regard as prophetic insight about this event.  I really can’t tell you what God was trying to tell me, but in my heart, I sensed a feeling of urgency.  Perhaps I was being told, “Soon, soon the Lamb will come to fulfill His prophecies and return to claim His rightful place.  I do feel that soon, Jesus will return to claim His saints.

I sat up and started to do Bible study and praise and worship God.  I studied until about 0530 CDT and tried to go back to sleep, but God disallowed this until I got up and wrote this account.

Later I remembered a similar event in Revelation, so I researched this event and found the following scripture:

Revelation 8:6-13

6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them.

7 The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood,

9 a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water—

11 the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

13 As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: "Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!"

Perhaps, this was just an inner portrayal of this scripture my mind conjured up as a dream.  Regardless, I felt the need to publish it as testimony and hope the reader will feel inspired to share their own testimonies with us.  We all fall short when it comes to righteousness and sharing our walk with the Lord serves to show our brothers and sisters that the Lord will save them from all their plight as well.

Isaiah 64:5-9

5 You come to the help of those who gladly do right,

who remember your ways.

But when we continued to sin against them,

you were angry.

How then can we be saved?

6 All of us have become like one who is unclean,

and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;

we all shrivel up like a leaf,

and like the wind our sins sweep us away.

7 No one calls on your name

or strives to lay hold of you;

for you have hidden your face from us

and have given us over to our sins.

8 Yet you, Lord , are our Father.

We are the clay, you are the potter;

we are all the work of your hand.

9 Do not be angry beyond measure, Lord ;

do not remember our sins forever.

Oh, look on us, we pray,

for we are all your people.

All Praise and Glory is given to Our God and Father On High.  He Is The King Of kings, The Lord Of lords and The God Of gods.
